"Switching" to the frequency of Self Healing

We now know that our genes can be turned off and on and that they are activated by "switches" so instead of saying "it's all in our genes' we can also now say "it's all on top of our genes" ...and wi [ ... ]

The Horse  Mentor in Vibrational Medicine (Entrainment)

Why do we feel good around horses?

Vibrational Therapy or Equine Assisted Life Coaching (Equine Assisted Therapy) is based on sound scientific principals of Physics.

It recognises that all matter vibrates to a precise frequency and that by using resonant vibration a balance of matter can be restored. Or in the case of human disease healing can take place

Resonance works on the principal of like attracts like.

When the C string of a harp or piano is struck, all the other octave strings of C begin to vibrate.

The same principal can be applied to the human body, that is when our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual “being” resonates to higher frequencies of vibration healing begins.

What are these higher frequencies?

Music, nature and animals all fall into the category of “finer vibrations” , a resonance capable of healing the human Spirit

With Holistequine Equine Assisted Therapy this "higher frequency" is the horse

The Holistequine experience

Why do we feel good when we are in Nature or when we are around horses and other animals?

Could it be that there is some sort of transference going on; an exchange of energy perhaps? Something that allows our horse to become a significant infuence from an energy perspective and as a mentor in Life Coaching?

We know that there is a measurable change within our physiology when we interact with animals; changes which we believe will hold a key for our understanding of wellbeing in the future.

The theories below may help explain this phenomonen.

What is Entrainment and how does it influence our lives?

Entrainment which partly explains these changes is a physics phenomenon of resonance.

It was first observed in the 17th century and has an effect on all of us. Entrainment is defined as the tendency for two oscillating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony. It is also defined as a synchronization of two or more rhythmic cycles. The principle of entrainment is universal, appearing in chemistry, pharmacology, biology, medicine, psychology, sociology, astronomy, architecture and more. The classic example shows individual pulsing heart muscle cells. When they are brought close together, they begin pulsing in synchrony. Another example of the entrainment effect is women who live in the same household often find that their menstrual cycles will coincide.

The history of entrainment is linked to Dutch scientist, Christian Huygens in 1665. While working on the design of the pendulum clock, Huygens found that when he placed two of them on a wall near each other and swung the pendulums at different rates, they would eventually end up swinging in at the same rate. This is due to their mutual influence on one another

The phenomenon of Entrainment can help explain what we were observing during the W.B.I. sessions at Holistequine. We saw how the more powerful energy field of the horse somehow by osmosis absorbed into ours. We took on the positive characteristics and mindset of the horse and was then, with this new found energy able to go on to improve our own lives

The Whole Body Intelligence system offers an exciting new challenge to explore the way we "think". W.B.I. marries the intelligence stored in the cells of our physical body with the intelligence of our higher intuitive centres. The outcome of this is a balance between our mental intelligence I.Q. and our emotional intelligence E.Q.

What are Mirror Neurons?

Empathy allows us to feel the emotions of others, to identify and understand their feelings and motives and see things from their perspective. How we generate empathy remains a subject of intense debate in cognitive science.

Some scientists now believe they may have finally discovered its root. We're all essentially mind readers, they say.

In 1996, three neuroscientists were probing the brain of a macaque monkey when they stumbled across a curious cluster of cells in the pre-motor cortex, an area of the brain responsible for planning movements. The cluster of cells fired not only when the monkey performed an action, but likewise when the monkey saw the same action performed by someone else. The cells responded the same way whether the monkey reached out to grasp a peanut, or merely watched in envy as another monkey or a human did

Because the cells reflected the actions that the monkey observed in others, the neuroscientists named them "mirror neurons."

Later experiments confirmed the existence of mirror neurons in humans and revealed another surprise. In addition to mirroring actions, the cells reflected sensations and emotions.

"Mirror neurons suggest that we pretend to be in another person's mental shoes," says Marco Iacoboni, a neuroscientist at the University of California , Los Angeles School of Medicine. "In fact, with mirror neurons we do not have to pretend, we practically are in another person's mind."

Since their discovery, mirror neurons have been implicated in a broad range of phenomena, including certain mental disorders. Mirror neurons may help cognitive scientists explain how children develop a theory of mind (ToM), which is a child's understanding that others have minds similar to their own. Doing so may help shed light on autism, in which this type of understanding is often missing.

How does an understanding of Mirror Neurons help us?

It helps us understand exactly what is happening in our lives. It helps us understand that every situation, person, animal etc. that we have attracted into our lives is an opportunity to gain an understanding of how our own life works. By everything that is being "mirrored back" to us we not only see a reflection of ourselves but also what we need to change to become "whole" again.

During the W.B.I. interactive exercises we bypass these personal mirrors and clear our energy field by working directly with the horse. The horses show us energetically where our holes are so we can gently plug them and then life does not need to be a negative experience

The horse as an archetype for Whole Body Intelligence.

The only way we can get the Energy to succeed in life and accomplish our goals is to clear our Energy field. With the Holistequine horses the Whole Body Intelligence technique can achieve this outcome.

Equine Assisted Life Coaching is a more intricate form of Equine Assisted Therapy as it takes in the Metaphysical componant of a person's psyche
