When we look at life as a whole we see that every living thing is made up of Energy. Animals, like humans are just another expression of that Energy reflecting back to us qualities that we need to integrate into our lives (ie. unconditional love, loyalty, and trust). We often project onto our pets the love we cannot give to ourselves.

The Astrological symbols give us clues to the importance of this mirroring effect.

The Native Americans and most Indigenous cultures knew this and lived in harmony with all creatures. They honoured the animals and treated them with respect.

"In the beginning of all things, wisdom and knowledge were with the animals; for Tuawa, the one above did not speak directly to man. He sent Animals to tell man that he showed himself through the beasts, and that from them, and from the stars and the sun and the moon, man should learn…… for all things speak of Tuawa". Are the new emerging viruses a result of us not resonating with the animals?

The Holistequine Approach attempts to re-establish this important connection. With an understanding of Vibrational Medicine the next generation of “wellbeing” will come through knowledge of our relationship with the Nature Kingdoms. Animal appear to absorb our negativity and somehow make us feel better.

Animals are good for the soul. When we are around them we are taken into an Alpha state where healing takes place, for this reason the Holistequine programs are seen as preventative medicine, correcting irregularities at the emotional/mental level before dis-ease manifests in the physical body.

The Horse as a “Life –Coach” (also referred to as Equine Assisted Therapy)

Just as Martial Arts was developed by observing the stances and movements of the animals, so too, the Holistequine Life- Coaching Program was created after observing the finer interactions and social structure of our equine friends. Given no human interference horses live within a functional social structure. We have recreated the energy dynamics of this model for the program.

Through these experiential sessions (non-riding) the horse takes you to a level of fitness, emotionally, mentally and physically with love and non-judgment. We not only demonstrate the link between negative thoughts and dis-ease but we can then, through the use of Kinesiology change these destructive patterns. We have nine horses, coming to us over 18 years with various "issues". The baggage they carried being no different to our own, deep unexpressed hurts. After many years of love and rehabilitation they now work with us as our teachers.

How it works

You choose a horse which reads your energy and reacts to it (he usually will not follow a simple request). We then use muscle testing to interpret his reaction and correct the thought pattern causing the problem ( re-wire the neurological pathways). The horse then sees your lighter energy field and treats you positively. During our sessions we focus on the solar plexus chakra, we see this area as important not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually. It is the seat of personal power, intuition and the will so any energy blockages here can manifest in a range of diseases and social problems. When we understand that every problem in our life, be it emotional, mental or physical is an imbalance of energy at a root level then healing becomes a simple, even fun process.
